作戰指令及軍階系統
在遊戲中，玩家將扮演前線軍團指揮官的角色，在剛進入遊戲時玩家將從排長做起，但是玩家一開始並不
能操縱每一個作戰單位。遊戲中的軍隊都各自有一套作戰指令系統和軍階系統，隨著遊戲的進行，你將會
有機會獲得陞遷以操作更多部隊，最終達到將軍統領全軍作戰。
遊戲中有超過350種地面部隊，以及大約60種不同的空軍部隊。遊戲主要以陸戰為主，每個陣營都有大量
的步兵團、炮兵、裝甲部隊、工程部隊，當然負責海域防衛的海軍以及空中安全防衛的空軍也是不可少
的。某些作戰單位可在關鍵時刻助你一臂之力，而這些都是由系統自動完成的，例如：玩家可呼叫海軍在
某個地帶進行登陸作戰，或者徵調空軍執行偵察任務和火力增援等。

獨具特色的單人關卡架構
《榮耀軍魂》在單人劇情模式的建構上採取非線性的發展，關卡的每個場景也各不相同，幾個著名的二戰
戰役也包含在劇情內，軍隊的戰略位置是忠於史實的，而戰爭的結局則取決於玩家的戰術技巧。
若是關卡失敗，玩家將會被召回總部，但這並不代表遊戲結束。因為玩家將可能在下一關卡中扮演因應的
角色，或者也有可能被分配到支線關卡中，用以支援主戰場的作戰，這樣的設計與以往遊戲「一夫當關，
萬夫莫敵」的概念是相當不同的。

強勁遊戲引擎，RTS作戰新體驗
本作採用強勁的DirectX9遊戲引擎，支援Vertex／Piexl2.0的技術，不論是像素陰影、動態光效、骨骼
動態、粒子系統、物理損傷和動態生成雲霧等等應有盡有。遊戲的場景相當大，採用20×20Km的超大型地
圖，每一陣營都有超過1500人的士兵，大規模的歷史戰事將帶給玩家全新的RTS作戰體驗。

與現實世界一樣，遊戲中有真實的晝夜循環、氣候變遷，而且這些變化都會對遊戲過程產生影響。作戰單
位還有針對各種天氣條件的特殊武器，環境的互動性極高。玩家可以在地面進行挖掘，使用挖出來的洞作
為掩體，環境的可破壞程度也很高。遊戲採用了SpeedTree技術，能夠營造出極為真實的野外場景。
